what process is used to print onto metal?
such as flexography, offset lithography, gravure etc.
what is direct printing? i googled it but can’t find anything about it.
Direct printing is a new process called DTP or ” Direct to Plate or Direct to the press.
What you are referring to is called ‘Etching’ which is the process to print on metal.
Here is a good site for that. We used them to make plates for our trophies etc…
