How can I sell my Artwork?
First of all, I am a young artist whose father died a little more than a year ago. Following that, there have been many events that have led up to this. I need to help make some money for my family due to my mother’s being laid off. We’re in a tight spot for money because of legal issues, medical reasons, losing the house, and now this. My mother is going for unemployment and I have a baby-sitting job, but it isn’t enough. I am left with no choice but to sell my art. We’ve been getting rid of stuff left and right so there really isn’t much of anything to sell. I am only fifteen. If anyone has any ideas or suggestions, please say something.
I KNOW that artists do not usually make enough money to live on. It isn’t to live on, it’s too help with the situation. My mother will not allow me to go through ebay and my artwork isn’t selling through deviantArt. We don’t have ANY money to spend to make more money.
We’re DESPERATE.
E bay would seem like the most obvious choice? You could try going on Deviant art where you post your artworks and people can buy items with pictures of your artwork on it, but I’m not sure whether the money goes to you or the company…
