Was I wrong to do this?

I really liked this girl and I tried to use creative ways to express my feelings to her, writing her poetic letters (they were NOT love letters) and drawing her artwork to show her how I feel. She said all this was sweet, but well, nothing came out of it and she never did grow to like me. It’s been about a year since this happened and I’ve since moved to a different country, so I’m just wondering, was I wrong to do the things I did? Also, do you think she’ll keep them?

if someone gave me poetic letters when i didnt really know them, i dont think id be turned on. maybe you came on too strong =(
